Building Robotics Europe GmbH & Co. KG, Zum Frischemarkt 4, 04158 Leipzig, Germany, email: [email protected]
2. Principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. This website uses no cookies, no tracking or marketing services, no third-party analytics (our own cookieless audience measurement is described in section 6a) and loads no external fonts or scripts.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare delivers the pages via a global server network, protects them against attacks and processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and fast operation). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. Cloudflare does not set any cookies on this website. Log data is stored only briefly unless security-relevant events require longer storage.
4. Contact and support form
If you contact us via the form, we process your details (name, e-mail, optionally company, phone, topic, message and the page from which you sent the form) to handle your enquiry. The enquiry is stored in a database at our hosting provider Cloudflare (see section 3) and forwarded by e-mail to our mailbox [email protected], which is operated on Microsoft 365. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering).
To protect against automated spam, we evaluate how long it took to fill in the form, whether a field invisible to humans was filled in and how many enquiries arrive in quick succession. For this purpose, a non-reversible hash that changes daily is derived from your IP address; we do not store the IP address itself. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing abuse). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Local storage in the browser
For convenience features (e.g. the watch list in the product comparison), we store settings exclusively locally in your browser (Local Storage). This data is not transmitted to us.
6. External links
Links to social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook) are simple hyperlinks. Only when you click on them are you redirected to the respective provider's website, where its privacy policy applies.
6a. Audience measurement without cookies
To improve our website, we collect anonymous usage statistics with a self-developed solution without cookies and without third-party analytics providers; the data is stored at our hosting provider Cloudflare (section 3). We count the requested page, referrer, device type, browser, time of day, time on page and clicks on downloads, tools and forms. To distinguish visits, a non-reversible hash with a key that changes daily is derived from the IP address and browser identifier; the IP address itself is not stored, and visits on different days cannot be linked. No information is stored on or read from your device. Raw data is deleted after 400 days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in designing the website according to demand). If your browser sends "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control", no data is collected.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte).
